GPUs

The 4 nodes of the infrastructure consist of high-performance graphics cards (GPUs – Graphic Processor Units) with 10752 CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) processors suitable for scientific and artificial intelligence applications. Graphics cards are NVIDIA A40. The NVIDIA A40 GPU provides state-of-the-art scientific computing capabilities with graphics and is one of the world’s most powerful graphics cards for use in high-end computing centers. Its capabilities include demanding computations such as photorealistic visualization and scientific AI applications where machine learning applications are accelerated on neural networks with tens of millions of parameters. Virtual workstations (Virtual Machines) supported by NVIDIA A40 and NVIDIA Virtual Compute Server software benefit a wide range of scientific and industrial applications for optimal performance and stability.
