The total power is 75KW. The UPS works in a 2+1 architecture, i.e. the two 25KW modules will support the load and its power. Each module has a three-level Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) system capable of converting direct current from the rectifier or batteries into alternating current and will include a vector control system based on a digital signal processor (DSP) for control of its operation and the control of the load balancing between the modules, without the need for an additional control unit. The UPS has a manual maintenance bypass switch inside the cabin with the UPS modules, which transfers the load to the bypass line to allow the UPS to be turned off and isolated for maintenance operations. The UPS is controlled by a microprocessor and displays measurements, alerts and operating modes on an LCD Touch Screen, with a mimic diagram.
